• My business first started out as a cake design business, creating cakes for my clients and brides in 2013 where I owned and operated Aspen Charm for 6 years. Before Aspen Charm Cakes & Pastries, I also owned Perfect Pralines and Krissy’s Sweet Treats.

  • I studied and graduated from the Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionary Arts in Toronto, Canada in 2012. Along with continuing self-education since attending Bonnie Gordon, I’ve taken several workshops with Maggie Austin to grow my education and knowledge in Sugar Flower Arts.

  • I grew up on box cake mixes and perfected making Rice Krispie Treats for years. It wasn’t until I purchased my first pink Kitchen Aid Mixer (which I still own!) is when I learned how to bake from scratch and come up with fun, new recipes. Over the years, I’ve drastically improved my baking skills through education at Bonnie Gordon and through trial and error through recipe development.

  • Everyone knows me to be the Broadway Musical Extraordinaire! I’m obsessed with going to live theater monthly, I’ve almost been 100 live shows. I also enjoy serving in my local chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., staying active in the gym, spending time with my friends and family, and indulging in my guilty pleasure of reality tv. Bachelor and Traitors anyone?

  • It’s my belief that creative entrepreneurs SHOULD get be paid their worth for the cakes they put into the world. I’ve struggled getting my cake business off the ground and quickly discovered the proper mindset and growth strategies to to have and keep a successful business. It hurts the entire cake business community when business owners undercharge for their work. I believe cake business owners can operate and run a successful cake business while earning the money they deserve.

  • Yes! I only collaborate with brands I know, use, and love. Whether through sponsored content, brand ambassadorship, recipe development, and photography & styling, let’s chat. If you’re interest in working together, feel free to send me an email at (hello@aspencharm.com) for more info.
